Mushroom extract Helping to clear HPV

In the first human trial it has been shown that a Japanese mushroom extract ‘AHCC’ has helped clear HPV viruses. The HPV virus is directly linked to cervical cancer in women and anal cancer in men, as well as other cancers.

It can be frustrating for an individual with HPV with a watch and wait approach often taken.

With this potential new find, we can be more proactive in HPV care.

A more extensive study is currently underway in Houston Medical School.
